Having trouble sleeping? That could be due to a number of things, but it's likely that you're either stressed, not feeling too great, or have tight/tense muscles. One of the best ways to relieve these problems in order to improve your night's sleep is to do this short and deeply relaxing yoga routine! It's only 10 minutes long, and you can do it right before you're ready to go to sleep.

Suffering from anxiety, panic attacks, or even daily high stress is no joke. It can not only have serious effects on our body in the present moment, but it can also negatively effect our health in the long run.
Yoga and meditation are proven methods to reduce these high stress levels overall, but sometimes, we need immediate results. You know? Something to stop our hearts from racing, the room from spinning, or the feeling that we can't breathe? That's where this technique comes in.
Nadi shodhana, or alternate nostril breathing, is an effective way to clear the mind and relax the body. Not only does it help you to feel more centered, grounded, and at ease, but it also is a great way to distract your mind from the stressful situation at hand. The reason for this is because it requires coordination of breath and hand movement, and you have to stop and think about which nostril to breath out or in from next. It sounds complicated, I know, but once you get the hang of it, it's definitely worth it. Here's a tutorial video on how to do it:
